Chalk Furniture Paint Workshop
FRIDAY, 4 FEBRUARY 2022, 10:00-13:00
Come on your own or bring a friend and enjoy the company of like minded people while you learn some great techniques using our Blake & Taylor Chalk Furniture Paint. We shall spoil you by serving morning tea while you paint and create in our beautiful air conditioned Workshop Space.
This is a beginners class so no previous painting skills are needed. Just like chalk paint there is minimal preparation required before using our paint. It is 100% made in Australia just for Blake & Taylor, washes up in water and is so easy to use. We provide all the materials and tuition you simply need to bring along a piece that you would like to paint which is no larger than a dining chair.
We’ll even spoil you by serving delicious morning tea while you paint and create in our beautiful air conditioned Workshop Space.
Drum Shade Workshop
FRIDAY, 11 FEBRUARY 2022, 10:00-13:00
Learn how to make a 35cm x 26 cm drum shade for either a lamp base or ceiling light.
We will provide all equipment for this workshop, you will only be required to bring your own choice of fabric.
If you choose a plain fabric you will need to bring 1/2 metre. If you choose a patterned fabric you will need to bring 1 metre. This is based on a 140cm widefabric.
Morning tea is also provided.
Cushion Making Workshop

Learn how to make your own cushions.
You will learn how to make a 45 x 45cm piped cushion cover with zip closure, including a duck feather insert.
We will also serve a delicious morning tea and lunch.
Beginners Watercolour Workshop
FRIDAY, 25 FEBRUARY 2022, 10:00-15:00
In this beginners introduction to watercolour, learn the basic tips and techniques to create your own gorgeous set of delicate floral cards.
Learn about the different watercolour paints, brushes, and paper used for a beginner, as well as essential colour theory and mixing techniques to create beautiful flowing botanicals. You will be shown how to use your brush to create different patterns and textures as well as how to control the paint and create different watercolour effects. All leading to painting your own stunning floral card set with envelopes.
You will be given your own 12 Pan Watercolour set with mixing palette and round size 6 brush, which is yours to take home. Your set of 6 cards will be painted onto specialist quality watercolour paper.
All materials and equipment are provided including delicious morning tea and lunch.
