These 3 iron paper spikes are from my personal collection and have been with me for many years and it is not time for them to add to someone else's treasures.

One of these cast iron paper spikes is marked with J.E.MEF Brisbane.

The letters JEMEF stand for J.E. Muehlebach Estate Furniture (or Factory).

This acronym was the trademarked brand and factory shorthand used by the family enterprise

following the transition of Johann Emil Muehlebach's original cabinet-making business.

The breakdown of the lettering reflects early 1900s Australian industrial branding conventions.

JEME represents the owner's legal and business initials Johann Emil Muehlebach Estate.

F represents Furniture or Factory, explicitly distinguishing his wood manufacturing facility from other

urban Brisbane traders.

Measurements 27cm high 10cm diameter

The other 2 paper spikes

one is original Victorian with a round base and measures 16cm high 6cm diameter and

the other is a reproduction, with a square base and is 23cm high 7.5cm wide
